The Islander is our exclusive mid level contract range. We keep stock of the Islander in all sizes for platform divan sets and mattresses and we stock fixed leg and zipped & linked in the single sizes.
The Islander features our exclusive M245 Framed spring interior topped with layer upon layer of luxury upholstery to provide a firm but supportive feel to the mattress. The mattress is covered in a 100% cotton flame retardant ticking. The mattress is hand tufted, utilising large Tudor felt collars, to hold all the the filling layers and the spring system under tension. The mattress borders are pre-built and padded with a vertical stitch and then fitted with flag stitch handles to assist turning of the mattress. There are 192 springs in the 90x190cm size, 288 in the 135x190cm and 325 in the 150x200cm size. All Moonraker divans are built with increased level of reinforcements. Using selected softwood and hardwood timbers our frames are built to withstand the rigours of use. Available as reinforced platform top divan ; or as a reinforced drawer divan set with a choice of two or four drawers ; sprung edge divan ; sprung edge drawer divan ; firm edge on legs, platform on legs ; fixed leg divan ; guest bed divan. The divan is upholstered in matching cotton damask damask ticking with a non-slip divan lid. The divan will be fitted with castors. Double size divans are in two halves for easy handling.
